What is a Coder?
A coding, app, and game designer creates computer programs, mobile apps, and video games that people use for work or fun. They write code to build how the app or game works, design characters or features, and test everything to make sure it runs smoothly. These designers often work in teams with artists and other programmers to create new ideas. Today, many also use artificial intelligence (AI) to add smart features, such as characters that react to players, apps that learn user preferences, or tools that help write and test code faster. This career is important because it helps create the technology and entertainment that many people use every day.
What do students in the Coding, AI & Game Design program at JRTI do?
Students explore various technologies used to develop applications, games and utilities, such as a Discord Bot. Design and build interactive applications and games through storyboarding, coding, and graphics development. They practice with Python programming, GUI Design, Game Design, animation and graphics. They also learn some web design and basic computer science concepts.
