What is an Electrician?

A career as an electrician involves installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems that power homes, buildings, and equipment. Electricians work with wires, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting systems to make sure electricity flows safely and correctly. They read blueprints and follow safety rules to prevent electrical hazards. Electricians may work on new construction projects, fix electrical problems in existing buildings, or maintain power systems in businesses and factories. This career requires strong problem-solving skills and careful attention to safety. Electricians play an important role because they help keep lights, appliances, and technology working in our everyday lives.
